Verizon Commercial - Michael Bay

Who is Michael Bay?? the director of the great movie Transformers... and some people say that is a law of nature that dictate Michael Bay to blow up something when he is making a film... this new Verizon's FiOS ad is a splashy, big-budget popcorn flick compared to Time Warner's cheaper, low-fi satire spot. It even stars the king of big boom summer movies, Michael Bay, blowing a bunch of stuff up and hanging out with Transformers, saying the word "awesome" a whole lot. Come to think of it, it's pretty much exactly like his movies, which you can pirate even faster with FiOS. Awesome! let's watch it!!!
The new ads from Verizon aims to convey that "when it comes to the Internet there's nothing more powerful than fiber optics straight to the home," says Geoff Walls, executive director of marketing at Verizon. "We wanted to talk about the incredible difference fiber provides when uploading information--about 25 times faster than cable, and a superior Internet experience."

Walls says Verizon wants consumers to understand that if they use anything other than FiOS Internet service they may get acceptable download speeds, but insufficient speeds on the upload.

Fiber optics provides Internet subscribers with Internet download speeds of up to 50 megabits per second (Mbps) and upload speeds of up to 20 Mbps. The new campaign, "This is FiOS; This is Big," created by New York-based McCann Erickson, highlights both Internet and television services delivered over a fiber-optic network to consumer homes. The carrier estimates that it serves more than 1 million subscribers in 17 states today.

Sony Walkman 30 years!!!

Sony Walkman is 30 years old today!!!... For the youngest, the name Walkman designates a range of Sony products related to the music, but in digital format. Those who already have more age it's hard to break away the idea from those bulky tape players, we were hanging at our waist. who doesn't remember this ad for this beautiful product???... let's watch it!!!

Today we meet 30 years of the launch of the Sony Walkman, the first truly mobile music player, allowing to listening our tapes on either side through a pari of headphones. Interestingly, one of its features, not allowing the recording, initially suggested to analysts that it would not work in the market.

But there are only about thirty years after the name is still remembered as a milestone in the history of music, and Sony, the manufacturer, it still continues to use in different products in its range. Obviously, today cassette tapes have been replaced by digital formats, but the concept remains essentially the same.
